It’s community day at the Sculpture Trails were we took a leisurely stroll through the woods and saw some amazing sculpture created by international artists. We saw cast iron being poured into molds with a explosive demonstration of hot iron. I carved a scratch block that was poured during the exhibition that I took home afterward. I later cleaned it up with a wire brush and treated it with beeswax. Come on out June 29th. There will be barbecue, blues and hot iron! Make your own cast plate for $20 and help the artists keep Sculptural Trails free to the public.
